Tuning into quantum – when will quantum technology become a business?

Quantum technology is no longer science fiction, but it is not yet a mass reality either – the question is when and in what form it will become a real competitive advantage. How can companies prepare for the quantum era today? What should they pay attention to, when should they enter the market, and in which industries can the first breakthroughs be expected? What is the business role of quantum algorithms, and when should CIOs and innovation leaders build a real strategy around quantum? We'll have a lot to talk about!

“Digital precedent – the transformation of a law firm with the support of Aloha Informatika Kft.”

How can the world of legal consulting be successfully transformed through digital transformation? This will be presented by Dr. István Szatmáry, Managing Partner, who will share his experiences of technological renewal at his own law firm in his presentation. The project was implemented by Aloha Informatika Kft., which replaced an outdated terminal server system with modern, cloud-based solutions. With the introduction of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, collaboration and remote access have reached a new level. Mapping the law firm's data assets and using BI reports has opened up new business opportunities. Modern technology has not only increased employee satisfaction, but also opened the door to AI-based solutions for document and data search. Dr. István Szatmáry's presentation highlights how technological change can become a strategic resource for the operation of a law firm.

Don't wait for controlling, chat with your data AI-based reporting in natural language

In most organizations, "data model islands" built on top of databases using different technologies result in slow responses and technical dependencies. I will show you how an AI-based approach replaces all this: ChatMetis allows you to use generative AI to ask your data questions in natural language and get instant visualization and explanations—without coding. I will also discuss what this means from a startup perspective: where agility provides a competitive advantage and where it poses a challenge in a large enterprise environment. Decoding emotions: EEG and AI in the service of marketing

The presentation shows how EEG and artificial intelligence help to objectively measure the emotional impact of advertisements. We review how EEG works, the possibilities of real-time measurement of attention and emotion indices, and how machine learning models transform raw, noisy signals into valuable marketing data. Through specific experimental examples, we will show how to identify the scenes and slogans that elicit the greatest emotional impact, how to optimize creative materials, and how to increase the ROI of campaigns. The presentation will also address ethical and data protection issues, and then outline a vision for the future where measuring emotions will become a natural part of the creative process.

Culture versus algorithm: human and technological factors in AI transformation

The presentation reveals that the success of AI transformation is determined not by algorithms/models, but by organizational culture. Technology only brings real value if the company is able to operate with confidence, openness to learning, and a data-driven approach. Artificial intelligence does not work in place of humans, but evolves alongside them. Presented from the perspective of a CTO, the presentation highlights that culture and algorithms are not opposites, but rather prerequisites for each other.

Best Practice: What's the problem? Quality assurance with the help of AI

Precision and consistent quality are key in modern metal manufacturing. AI-based image recognition offers new possibilities for automatically evaluating the accuracy of workpieces and identifying design flaws (such as holes). Components photographed during production are analyzed by a machine learning model that can identify deviations from the planned dimensions, shapes, or patterns. The system can recognize defects such as deformations, holes, or machining irregularities in comparison to reference models. The use of AI makes quality control faster, more objective, and more cost-effective, and can be integrated cost-effectively even in the intermediate steps of the manufacturing process. This reduces the risk of human error and increases the reliability of the manufacturing process.

The power of awareness, the best defense is awareness

Many people think that education and awareness are easy topics, that all we have to do is put together a presentation, deliver it, and we're done. But the key is in the impact. Just as a little sugar gives our coffee a completely different character and flavor, filling the kitchen and our morning with its aroma. For thousands of years, when it came to the most important events, those who could exert the greatest influence on people always had the advantage. We present the organizational tools for exerting this influence, filtered through the lens of safety awareness, just as golden crystals of brown sugar fall into freshly brewed coffee.

Organized crime and professional expertise?

Cybercrime is a professional business model: it requires a high level of expertise and specialized roles. Cybercriminal groups maximize their profits in a corporate-style structure based on cooperation and service provision, implementing new technologies at record speed and perfecting information sharing. This poses a serious challenge for defense and law enforcement in the digital space.

AI and a major bank – OTP's experiences

The presentation takes a practical look at how OTP turned to artificial intelligence and what organizational, technological, and operational changes made the results tangible. We will review the areas where AI has proven itself, as well as the generalizable lessons learned where initial experiments did not produce the expected results (data quality and process maturity limitations, excessive technology-centricity, etc.).

What's up with you guys? – Forms of business transformation in relation to AI

AI is not just hype – but it is not a self-operating miracle weapon either. In my presentation, I will show how to start on the path of AI transformation, how we built our AI management system, and how we linked strategic goals to concrete implementation. I will discuss the AI Ambassador program, the role of the AI Officer, the introduction of Microsoft Copilot, and data protection and compliance challenges. The focus will be on how we can make AI not only functional but also value-creating – with human responsibility and business awareness instead of technological magic.

Anonymized, but very real "we'll solve it smartly" and "we wouldn't have believed it" stories: ransomware over the weekend, infiltration of a forgotten test server, supply chain thread in the most innocent plug-in. What worked, what didn't, what would have been the "one step ahead" decision – and how to communicate with business, legal, and the press. No beating around the bush, just lessons learned and a good dose of self-irony. If you like war stories, you'll not only laugh here, but you'll also take notes.

SIEM, SOAR, coffee: the big SOC roundtable

What keeps SOC alive at two in the morning: SIEM, SOAR, EDR – or a well-written runbook and a liter of coffee? The panel will focus on people rather than tools: how to combat alert fatigue, how to divide work between L1 and L3, what and how to automate, and where there is still a need for "gut feeling" analysis. Career paths, rotations, on-call quality of life, AI assistants on shift – and a few tried-and-tested tricks to stay focused even at the end of a "red alert" day. The goal: less noise, faster response, better team spirit – and yes, sometimes less coffee.

ERP reloaded – business platform or never-ending project?

For decades, ERP systems have been the gray eminences of corporate operations—expensive, robust, and sometimes not really liked by anyone. But what if modern ERP is no longer what we have known it to be? The cloud, artificial intelligence, and industry specialization have breathed new life into ERP, transforming it from a mere system into an agile, data-driven business platform capable of creating real value. This roundtable discussion will focus on how ERP is becoming the engine of corporate transformation—not only on a technological level, but also on a strategic one.

Data-driven decisions? Or just data illusion? Most organizations live in their own data illusion—people, data, logic—what is our company ready for?

Most organizations today live in their own data illusion: they claim to be data-driven, while their data is inaccurate, generated in isolated systems, and distorted by human decisions. This is particularly evident in the case of medium-sized and large companies that have grown out of Hungarian SMEs—ERP collects data, but does not create logical connections between data. As a result, management often makes decisions based on interpretations rather than facts, which is a competitive disadvantage in the AI era. True data-driven operation does not begin with algorithms, but with the company's ability to build a unified, reliable data logic into its processes. Until this is in place, ERP will be nothing more than an expensive data repository – but if the data is organized, ERP becomes the most valuable foundation for AI integration. People, data, and logic together determine what a company is truly capable of. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Data quality – the invisible pillar without which data governance collapses

Just because our data *should* be correct does not mean that it actually is. In this presentation, we will show you the difference between correct, incorrect, and seemingly correct data. Using real-life examples, we will demonstrate the immediate and long-term consequences of bad data. What types of problems need to be addressed at the technical and organizational levels due to poor data quality? What should we be prepared for? Poor data quality can, of course, be addressed through testing, but how we do it matters. Poor testing only wastes resources without improving data quality. As in most cases, knowledge and methodology are important in data quality testing, while the tool is secondary. In the second part of the presentation, we will show you what quality assurance tools can be used to find and correct (and, in the long term, avoid) poor data, and what positive effects this has on business operations.

Employee access efficiently and intelligently – the intersection of HR, IT, and security

When a new employee joins the company, it is important that they can start working as soon as possible. However, in most organizations, assigning permissions can take weeks due to manual coordination between HR, IT, and the permissions management team. What if the IDM system knew exactly who needed what permissions on their first day? Using analytics based on artificial intelligence and advanced statistical data mining, employees can be grouped into smaller clusters based on available data such as position, organizational unit, work location, etc. As a result, it is possible to determine exactly what permissions they need for their work from day one. The new approach not only enables faster onboarding, but also significantly reduces IT and HR administration tasks associated with access management. But how can automation be integrated into existing processes without compromising security or legal compliance? And how can a balance be found between human decision-making and AI-driven processes? We will provide solutions to these questions!

ESG 2.0 – Rationalizing sustainability

The buzz around ESG has reached its peak – many companies are rethinking what sustainability really means. Instead of compliance pressure, excessive reporting requirements, and PR-focused approaches, data-driven, business-integrated ESG is now coming to the fore. But what does ESG 2.0 look like? What technological tools can be used to measure real impact? We are using more and more IoT devices and sensors to achieve sustainability goals, which takes the accuracy of ESG data to a new level – and with it, cybersecurity risks. How can ESG become not just an obligation, but a value-creating factor – for example, in financing, supplier relationships, or the labor market?
